Worker Requirement

To qualify for rendering jobs on Pictor, Workers must meet the following Minimum Hardware and Software requirements:

Hardware Requirements

1. Graphics Card (GPU)

AMD GPU
NVIDIA GPU

VRAM

At least 8 GB

At least 8 GB

Driver Version

  • AMD Radeon Software (Adrenalin Edition) 24.1.1

  • AMD Radeon PRO Software 24.Q1

  • NVIDIA Driver 520.06+ (for Windows)

  • NVIDIA Driver 520.61.05+ (for Linux)

CUDA Toolkit Version

11.8+

CUDA Compute Capability

8.0+

2. Network

Reliable and strong network connectivity is required for efficient data transfer.

For better performance, an Ethernet connection with a download/upload speed of 200 – 500 Mbps is recommended.

3. RAM

At least 32 GB of RAM.

4. Hard Drive

  • Minimum of 100 GB free disk space on the C-Drive.

  • SSDs or other non-mechanical hard drives are preferred for faster read/write speeds.

Note: The provided requirements may change based on actual conditions to ensure optimal network operation.

Software Requirements

  • For open-source software like Blender, there are no specific requirements.

  • For software that requires a license, we will provide specific requirements on a case-by-case basis.
