Workers are the supply side of the Pictor Network, contributing GPUs that fuel the network’s limitless compute power for 3D and AI workloads.
Who are the Workers?
Workers are the supply-side participants of the Pictor Network, renting out their GPU computing resources to the network to process 3D rendering and AI tasks and earn rewards. Workers can be individuals, studios, render farms, data centers, tech companies, etc.
There are no geographical restrictions, and extensive knowledge of 3D graphics and AI is required. The only requirement to join the Pictor is that your devices have computing power that meets the network’s specifications.
What do the workers do?
Joining the Network: Workers join the Pictor by registering on the Pictor Cloud and installing the Pictor Worker app or Pictor Docker Image on their machines. Once the Worker app or the Docker Image is installed, it integrates the GPU(s) into the Pictor Network, making Workers available for 3D rendering tasks.
Computing Tasks: Workers process the computing tasks assigned to them. The computing process is monitored to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
Rewards: Workers are rewarded with $PICTOR tokens after successfully completing rendering tasks. These tokens can be used within the network or exchanged for other cryptocurrencies or fiat money.
