Pictor Render is a core product of the Pictor Network, designed to make Web3 decentralized rendering services easily accessible to 3D artists and creators worldwide. It provides the essential tools and resources to manage and execute complex 3D rendering projects with efficiency and precision. By harnessing a global network of distributed computing resources, Pictor Render ensures that 3D projects of any scale are rendered quickly and with the highest quality.

Pictor Render Overview

This overview will give you insights into what Pictor Render is, who it’s designed for, and how it can be used to optimize 3D rendering tasks.

What is Pictor Render?

Pictor Render is an essential component of the Pictor Network ecosystem, designed to make the network’s decentralized rendering services easily accessible to our customers. It is designed to streamline the process of rendering 3D projects by leveraging the power of a decentralized network of computing resources.

Pictor Render offers two main platforms:

  1. Pictor Render Cloud: a web-based application (available now)
  2. Pictor Render dApp: an all-in-one desktop application (coming soon)

Who Uses Pictor Render?

Pictor Render is designed for Pictor Creators – 3D artists, animators, designers, and any others who require high-performance rendering services for their 3D projects. Whether you are a freelancer working on a small-scale project or a large studio handling complex animations, Pictor Render provides the tools and resources needed to manage and complete rendering tasks efficiently.

Pictor Creators can use Pictor Render to:

  • Create rendering jobs
    • Upload project files
    • Adjust settings
    • Submit rendering requests
  • Monitor rendering progresses
  • Review render results
  • Download render results

Pictor Render Cloud (Available Now)

The Pictor Render Cloud is a web-based application that provides decentralized rendering services accessible via a web browser. It is particularly beneficial for Creators as it offers ease of use and accessibility to any internet-connected devices.

Pictor Render Cloud currently supports popular 3D software and Rendering engines including Blender, Cinema 4D, Redshift, Octane, Cycles, Eevee, Workbench, and LuxCoreRender.

Let’s explore some key services that Pictor Render Cloud offers our users.

1. Create rendering job

The Create Rendering Job service in Pictor Render Cloud is designed to simplify the rendering process for Creators, allowing them to initiate rendering tasks with ease and flexibility. This key service enables users to create rendering jobs by following a straightforward workflow.

  • Upload project files
  • Adjust Settings
    • Adjust Render settings such as 3D software and its version, rendering engine, output format, resolution, render frame/render node, etc.
    • Configure Worker (Network) settings such as Worker location, GPU configuration (manufacturer, model, and quantity), and Worker tier.
    • Set Payment settings: payment method (Dollar credits or PICTOR tokens).
  • Submit rendering requests

2. Monitor rendering progress

After the job is submitted, it will be rendered by Pictor Network’s distributed Workers. In this processing stage, Pictor Render Cloud allows users to monitor the progress of their rendering jobs in real time. Users can see the detailed real-time status of each frame (whether it’s queued, processing, or succeeded).

One crucial step in this process is the Pictor AI Core Verification.

As part of ensuring quality and correctness, the AI Core system scans each frame to verify whether it has been rendered correctly. This step is essential for generating the Proof of Work, confirming that the rendering job meets the requested rendering requirements.

3. Review render results

Based on our extensive experience in 3D rendering, we have observed that while 95% of tasks are rendered correctly, there is a 5% chance of inaccuracies. To address this, Pictor Network employs an additional layer of quality assurance. Users, or Creators, can review the render results and confirm which frames are rendered correctly to accept and which frames are rendered incorrectly to request re-rendering.

4. Download render results

Once the rendering job is completed and accepted, Creators can download the final renders directly from the Pictor Render Cloud.

It’s important to note that the downloaded results will be free of any Pictor watermark, ensuring that the final output is clean and ready for use in the Creator’s projects.

Pictor Render dApp (Coming Soon)

Pictor Render dApp is an all-in-one desktop application that integrates all network rendering services with enhanced ease and functionality.

Stay tuned for its release, as it will significantly expand the possibilities for Creators working within the Pictor Network.
