# Remote Workstation

**Remote Workstation** is a flexible Rendering Infrastructure-as-a-Service (Rendering IaaS) solution in the Pictor Network, tailored for 3D artists and studios who need full control over their rendering pipeline.

Unlike Pictor’s Rendering Software-as-a-Service (Rendering SaaS), where users submit 3D jobs and receive outputs via a pre-configured interface, Remote Workstation lets users **rent decentralized GPU compute directly** from Pictor’s network. This allows them to install and run **their own preferred 3D software** (e.g., Houdini, Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, etc.) and customize the rendering environment to fit complex production workflows.

By offering raw GPU access on demand, Pictor’s IaaS solution lets users run custom rendering setups, real-time rendering, and other specialized workflows.\
It’s ideal for individuals and studios using proprietary tools, artists with unique needs, or teams that want compute flexibility while keeping full control over their software.
