# Checker Requirement

Becoming a **Checker** in Pictor Network is straightforward. You don’t need to run servers or handle technical setups. Instead, you just need to get a Pictor Checker Node NFT and stake it in the Pictor Checker Nodes.

How to join as a Checker:

* **Get a Checker Node NFT**

The NFT acts as your access key to the Checker role. You can purchase it at <https://nft-sale.pictor.network/>.

* **Stake the NFT**

Stake your NFT(s) to Pictor Checker Nodes to activate your Checker role.

Once staked, your NFT contributes to a Checker Node and becomes eligible for **weekly (epoch) rewards**. Each staked NFT represents your commitment to help verify network activity, without needing to operate any nodes yourself.

* **Earn rewards**

Each week (epoch), 10% of all job payments on the network are shared among staked Checker Node NFTs.

* If your NFT is staked for the whole week, you earn rewards for the full epoch.
* If you stake mid-week, you only earn rewards from that point until the end of the week.
* If you unstake, you will lose the current epoch's reward.

These are the **current requirements** to become a Checker. By staking a Checker Node NFT, you can participate in network verification and earn weekly rewards while helping maintain the integrity of Pictor Network.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.pictor.network/docs/participants/checkers/checker-requirement.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
